"Overall an excellent stay. There was great communication throughout by the host. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The best thing about it is probably the location and sense of security. The pool was excellent along with an outdoor seating area and spacious grounds. Breakfast was provided every morning to add a nice little touch of local cuisine. The one bedroom apartment though small was cozy enough."

"Thanks to Josiah for the smooth check-in and fulfilling all my additional requests perfectly. The entire team including Rachel, Chelsea and Sheena were most attentive during the 7 days that my wife and I stayed at the Bel Air Hotel. The apartment had two bedrooms, both very clean and the shower was spacious and always provided hot water when used. The air conditioning got the apartment super cool, something needed in Guyana! The place was spotless, the staff were happy to clean the apartment as requested, so thanks to the cleaners also! Not a sign of any issues, the bed was comfortable and clean. I would happily go back to stay again at the Bel Air Hotel."

"I like the overhead outlets on the bed for accessibility. I also liked the design of the bathroom, especially the clear glass that allows you to see the bedroom. I think the amenities were great and well kept and useful. The iron & iron board, the TV, mini fridge, kettle, closet and towels/rags etc. I had an issue where I bit into a rotten apple, the hotel staff was unable to help as they said the restaurant operates differently from them, but they had some concerns about it more then the actual restaurant staff. A Chinese gentleman took the apple from me and discarded it and when trying to translate it to mandarin he kept saying i'll be fine. That was my only issue, as nothing was and still not done about it. Everything else was superb, wide variety of buffett food for breakfast from 7AM-10AM, so you can eat as your heart desires. Definitely a 9/10 experience."

"Grand Coastal hotel was really nice . I would stay there again . The room was clean , AC worked well. The only issue was the bathroom needs some improvement. Breakfast was very expensive and not a lot of options for the price they are charging. Other than that, staying there was good."

"We always stay in the Excecutive Suite for our 2+ weeks in Guyana. Our stay was pleasant. The room was extremely clean. The staff- from the staff who carries the suitcases and ground keepers. Huge shoutout to everyone on site. They were all very pleasant and made us feel at home. The issue lies with the staff at the front desk. They need retraining. They tried charging us to check in early (2 hours) even though the room was available. Never have we ever had to pay to do an early check in at any hotel. The girl was very rude and refused to give her name. We ended up booking on Expedia to avoid dealing with her. We also found out that the hotel doesn't charge for early check in, which means the girl (Ms. Edward's, apparently) was trying to scam us. When we came to the hotel, we were greeted by Roshini, the housekeeping supervisor. She was beyond accommodating. The poolside restaurant and bar was nice to sit, even though we don't drink. Everyone at the poolside were friendly and joyful. As far as security, there's a gate and an attendant. However, each apartment entrance should have a door and a key to enter the rooms' area. Especially that the bar and pool are open to the public, they need to keep resort guests safe. Great resort. When you are on property, you forget that you are in Guyana. Lovely."
