"Overall it was a nice quiet hotel. It is not sound proof and you can hear the noises from the halls. It is located right in front of a bus stop that makes getting to and from the train station quiet easily. It is located about 1.5 hours away from the airport by train and 45 minutes from the main area of Barcelona. "

"Lovely place to stay near Park Guel. It retains it's old fashioned feel but with some extra touches. Buffet breakfast is available 24/7 if one is a little peckish. There is a nice veranda at the front to sit ot and read or relax. The only minor issue is that since it's a period property the doors to rooms aren't airtight so you can hear if other people come in late at night but no one came in too late or was to noisy and it's on a hill so every walk back burns off a few extra calories.
