"Perfect hotel to stay in Syros. Nicolas, the owner, is a fabulous host and a true gentleman. He is very informative about the history of Syros. The boutique hotel is about a 5 min walk downhill (gentle) to the town where there are lots of tavernas, shops etc. Nicolas provides lots of useful information about the sights, beaches and restaurants. Anna provides a lovely breakfast, meats & cheeses, fruit, Greek yoghurt, breads. She also cleans the rooms and is a lovely person. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable with a delightful welcome tray. All rooms are individually named and have history behind. I would highly recommend staying and I would return should I visit Syros again which is very likely. Thank you we should have stayed longer."

"It was clean, well maintained in good location. Room was nicely done with private Jacuzzi in the balcony. Our room was cleaned every day and all the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with different treats and delicacies every day. I would definitely recommend it."

"Lila and her family went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and take care of us! The islands quite small so we had an hard time getting a taxi from the airport and she sent her son to come pick us up! Everything about the stay was a 10/10! They are so kind, such great hospitality! Everything is exactly as described in the pictures and the place is so convenient and centrally located! We will definitely be back!"

"Excellent location, literary 30 seconds walk from the harbour. Room was compact but we had everything we needed. Shower drain needs improving, water very slow to drain after two showers. Being located on the ground floor next to the front door we experienced noise of guests coming in and out at night. Breakfast buffet was small but excellent quality with ร la carte egg dishes also available. 15 mins complimentary massage in the spa was a nice touch and the WhatsApp concierge service was a life saver for organising taxis and beach club bookings."

"George is very friendly. The hotel is great place to stay. Even tough itโs mentionned on the website and displayed on the roof, there are no breakfast available, just so you know. Overall great stay and amazing view on the port from the room balcony."

"We were welcomed to the beautiful, restored townhouse that is Hotel Ploes, by its owner, Lina and her little dog. Nothing was too much trouble, from the provision of information about Syros to phoning taxis for us. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent, as was her very worthwhile recommendation to visit the town's art gallery which was exhibiting some of the work of the famous Greek sculptor, Theodoros Papagiannis. Her authored novel, Konstantza, Tales of Vaporia - provided in our room at the beginning of our stay and gifted to us at the end - managed to blend a fictional story with the history of the island and, in particular, the area of Vaporia, along with the careful renovation of the building that has become Hotel Ploes. It added to the enjoyment of our stay (26-29 June 2026). Our room - sea facing with a large terrace and situated at the top of the hotel - was scrupulously clean, as was the hotel in general. The beautiful decor throughout reflected the building's sympathetic restoration. All staff were courteous and helpful and the breakfasts were generous and of good quality. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay! Mandy & Rob"
