"Nice clean room, friendly staff"

"The hotel was what I expected for $55/night. The person who checked me in at the desk was pleasant. Unfortunately, the smell in my area was a cross between a wet dog and an old ashtray. Even the air blowing from the AC unit had a similar smell. The hallway closer to the front desk had a different smell. My first night it smelled like a deep fryer and the second night it smelled like curry. (That was actually pleasant.) My room was relatively clean but did have a few stains on the bathroom floor. The bed was very very hard... My TV didn't work, which I discovered when I tried to use the remote which was covered in stickiness. In their defense I didn't notify them about the TV because I was grossed out after touching it... One good thing, it was a quiet place. I didn't hear any other guest noise."

"Overall it was nice and clean. The only thing was the shower was a little weird. The water would get super hot and it was hard to regulate."
