Good for the price.

For my needs and what I paid, it was just fine. But I cannot imagine a family wanting to book a week's vacation here. No easy access to other things. Meager, but clean furnishings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Power was unreliable, which is a problem for a CPAP user, but that us common in Africa. No screens on windows or air conditioning.

Pohoda za rozumnou cenu

Jedná se o levný hotel a tak je třeba to brát. Ale teplá voda tekla, byla možnost pověsit si vyprané prádlo, snídaně v ceně byla dobrá a personál byl v pohodě. Dokonce nás ubytovali v 7:30 ráno a mohli jsme si dokoupit jednu snídani. V baru je možno koupit pití, jídlo jsme nekoušeli. Zahrada je pěkná a návštěva barevných ptáků potěší oko. V areálu je malý krámek se suvenýry. Pokud vám nevadí umístění mezi místními mimo dalších hotelů bude se vám pobyt líbit.

Our hotel booking was cancelled on arrival

We arrived at 4pm in the afternoon after 12 hours overland travel to find they had given our 2 rooms away to a large booking. The owner had recurved a booking for 30 people and so to accomodate this they bumped our rooms off with no communication or notice and said on arrival they had another apartment nearby they rented they we could stay in which had broken tap/ TV wasn’t working/shower barely working and mosquito screens broken as well as no fans in a very hot run down apartment. The very very helpful lovely staff member Joseph bought 2 fans and this helped but the fact they would give our room away with no refund or notice isn’t good business. The actual hotel we booked and didn’t get to stay in looked SO NICE and the garden so lovely and I am sure we are just unlucky and this Gorilla hotel would be VERY nice to stay in if your booking isn’t bumped when they get big bookings. The staff are wonderful! At the time the owner wasn’t there. Hopefully this is a one off event they doesn’t occur again.

Very nice staff, location close to Entebbe airport. Spacious, clean room with bednets. Good hot water, and excellent breakfast.

虫が苦手ではないなら良い

庭があり手入れもされているため自然を感じることができる。2食したがおいしかった。 ちゃんとした窓がないため虫が入り込んだり、外の音がすごく入ってくる。特にテレビの音が大きくて夜はちょっとうるさい。 部屋はきれいに掃除はされているが、虫（ゴキ？）がいて、虫嫌いな私には辛かった。 スタッフはフレンドリーで良かったし庭に珍しい鳥がたくさんいて良かったが、大きな虫が印象強くて評価を下げました。

Horrendous

This was a stop over before our flight home and all we wanted to do after 3wks travel was relax, sleep before our early morning flight and freshen up. It was difficult to find and our taxi driver took over an hour searching, the room when we arrived was dirty, it smelled unpleasant, the bathroom was dirty, the loo didn't flush and there was only 1 dirty towel. The bedding was clean however , the only positive. The bill was queried, we were told by Robert the owner that we should be paying more than Expedia had quoted, we were charged for a taxi to take us to the airport (although free shuttle service is advertised) but were instead taken by the owner (having paid the taxi fee). The staff stood and talked outside our room all night as well as loud music and barking dogs so a quiet night before our journey back to the UK it was not. All in all a very disappointing stay, basic we don't mind, cleanliness we do.

Check other hotels, this one is not good!

at reception had NO info about me coming, after waiting 20min. I was allowed to go into ''my deluxe double room''. There was NO TV, NO hot water, NO WIFI, NO microwave, NO electricity NO hair-dryer as advertised and NO clothing hangers... people weren't nice either

Just Great

The Gorilla African Guest House is one of those gems we find every now and again. The staff are absolutely fantastic beginning with Alice, the manager. The setting is excellent, my room was spacious and comfortable and the included breakfast was delicious. I would go back without hesitation.
