"I am beyond disappointed with the experience my family had at City Express on May 24, 2026. We have stayed here before and while the parking situation has always been difficult, the hotel staff and overall service usually made up for it. Unfortunately, today completely changed our opinion.
My father is currently dealing with a medical issue, and we have been urgently going back and forth between pharmacies and the hotel. When we returned, there was no parking available, which we understand can happen. What was absolutely unacceptable was the valet attendant’s attitude and behavior toward my family during an already stressful situation.
Instead of showing even basic compassion or professionalism, he spoke to us in a rude, dismissive, and belittling tone while my father attempted to explain the urgency of the situation. We were essentially told we would wait “however long it takes,” with zero concern for my father’s health or the circumstances we were dealing with. His tone and attitude were completely inappropriate.
What made the situation even worse was after I went to speak with the front desk who, thankfully, were kind and professional the valet attendant stood nearby smirking, staring at me, and walking past repeatedly in an intentionally disrespectful manner. It felt arrogant, confrontational, and completely unprofessional.
One employee’s behavior completely ruined what had otherwise been positive experiences at this hotel. Hospitality starts with treating guests"
