We booked for 2 nights but checked out early. We could not sleep because of the train. Heard it all night! The room smelled old. Would not recommend it.

Leucadia Beach Inn
What a gem this place is! We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room unexpectedly upon arrival and then were walked right to our room and given lots of good suggestions about nearby spots to get food. The best part is that Beacon’s beach is just a few blocks away!

Sentral Gaslamp Quarter
Great location to petco park and if you want to take part in a big bar scene. Area is clean, otherwise quiet. Staff is very nice and helpful at the hotel.

The Westin Desert Willow Villas, Palm Desert
Great location, close to El Paseo and reasonable proximity to Palm Springs, the airport and Joshua Tree. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms equipped with a kitchen. Cons: $30/day parking, cleaning service did not refill shower amenities as requested.
