From the moment you arrive you’ll be blown away by this very special property. The attention to detail in every aspect is outstanding and there’s a cosy place to relax around every corner. The food was incredible and the staff attentive and friendly.

The Sweetfontein Boutique Farm is away from town and so peaceful and quiet, so refreshing! The farm has several different cottages with different amenities to suit your needs. Our room had a large comfortable bed and small twin bed, plus refrigerator, private bathroom, air conditioning and large patio with plenty of outdoor furniture. The farm has 3 pools, plus different restaurants, common sitting areas, and walking paths to view plants, animals and ceramic shop. The breakfasts, lunch and dinners were scrumptious, and the service was simply marvelous. They even provided us with take aways to bring to our next “self-serve” destination so that we could simply microwave dinners. The staff went above and beyond to meet your expectations, and really deserve recognition for their attentiveness. They were always busy, and doing a lot of renovations and maintenance for upcoming weddings. Please note that some of the rooms do not have televisions so make sure to reserve a room with one if you want to watch it! Also, there were some issues with internet and signals due to mini tornados, but all was resolved. They also have an entire section for spas, but we did not use this service. I would recommend staying here for peace and quiet and would not hesitate to come back. Thumbs up to the Boutique Farm, especially the wonderful staff! Thank you!

Wow what a spot to visit

An amazing spot and very modern and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with the Karoo woven into the style. Great food and service. If you want a tranquil break with extras this is a definite.

Het verblijf hier was onvergetelijk! Overal waar je kijkt, zie je weer iets unieks in de inrichting. Alles gemaakt van natuurlijk materiaal uit de omgeving. Heerlijke kamer met een voorverwarmd bed. Fijn diner. Iedereen is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijke porch met allemaal gezellige zitjes met uitzicht op het landschap. Hoogtepunt! En perfect gelegen op de route (als je de N12 via Kimberley neemt) tussen Joburg en Cape Town.
