The prices of the hotel stay was very reasonable. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff very courteous. Unfortunately altho the bar & grill downstairs was closed. So were all the same upstairs. Casino closes at midnight. After spending the days at Clay County Fair it would have been nice to have those amenities open to relax in.

Overall it was a good experience. Our big issue was there being no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Bar and grill in building had friendly staff and good food. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was a big fail.

I have stayed at The Wild Rose many times and it has always been a great place to stay. However I do really miss the restaurant upstairs and the hot breakfast. For the special winter rates you can't beat the price.

A Nice Place

Smoky smell is a turn off

Room was beautiful and comfortable... lobby reeked of smoke from the casino. I requested a room far away from casino after reading many posts regarding that, so we didn't have issue in our room
