Not what I paid for
I purchased thru 'Hotels.com" a decent sized room with a sofa in addition to the bed. I was given a very small room which could never include a sofa. I don't know if the hotel did this to increase their revenue or 'Hotels.com' pocketed the difference. In any case the room was uncomfortable.
A standout disappointment. I’d been to Nof Ginosar a few times years ago. The hotel is run down, dirty and neglected. The carpet in the hallway has seen better days. The furniture is all beat up. The dining room (indoors) was a zoo, and taking food out was forbidden. In other words, the kibbutz ideology turned into a failing business. Save the trouble.
The room we got was dirty, full of dust and greasy fingerprints everywhere, the towels were full of stains both in the room and in the pool, the milk in the dining room was spoiled, the hotel staff could have been more courteous. This is the first and last time I will stay in this hotel.
We slept in the village for one night.
We went for a couple trip and the beds were twin bed.
The room was only partly clean, with dust. It was also quite old. TV channels are very limited. The pool and the Sea shore were quite small for the number of guests so they were too crowded.
I was also asked to pay more money when I got to the hotel since they told me I didn't pay VAT, although my confirmation showed I paid all taxes.
The service, on the other hand, was very pleasant and welcoming. Very nice people.
we order the da lax room..which we pay extra..and first the reception guy offer us the regular room..after we ask again he offer the other room...the room wasn't clean...and the food in breakfast was not so fresh..not the bread and not the pancakes..the good thing is the location..overall we paid extra money to upgrade the room but didnt got the value for it
We enjoyed our stay! The condition of the hotel is fairly good, the location is absolutely stunning! The service was nice and welcoming. Our room was spacious and in good condition, but we had a problem with the bed arrangements: We got 2 single beds. So it was a bit uncomfortable to join together. Next time I would call in advance and find out if we can get a room with a queen size bed. Also, I would check in advance if a room with sea view is available. The adjacent Yigal Alon museum was really nice to visit as well, 20 NIS Per person for hotel guests.
Surpris de se retrouver dans des bungalows vieillpts alors une le site montre de belles photos des chambres de l’hôtel.
Rapport qualité prix très mauvais
it was very good.
the room was very clean, in a quite place near the beach.
the breakfast was exellent with many kind of foods.
the staff was very helpful.
Overall a nice family hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Good A/C. Food was good and plentiful.
The WiFi in the room was down for almost all of the stay and I didn’t get the impression that the staff was rushing to fix it.
The staff was polite and helpful though I can’t quite understand why they were knocking on my door at 7:45 to clean the room on the last morning.
Sehr schöne Lage direkt am See. Gepflegte Anlage und ein reichhaltiges Buffet.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Some rooms much better than others.
The rooms away from the main buildings were less than ideal, and we were happy to move from them to the “deluxe” rooms nearer to the main office. They were much more comfortable and would earn a better overall rating.
The breakfast was very good with a great selection of fresh vegetables.
Great accommodations, food and atmosphere. Wonderful location on the Sea of Galilee.

This hotel caters to large groups and excursions that come to the Sea of Galilee. It is not designed nor it caters to individual guests looking for a more personable experience. There are better options in the area.

A kibbutz hotel
This hotel was recommended by our tour guide. It was just average. It is a hotel run by the local kibbutz. The rooms are out-dated and quite standard, much like a Holiday Inn. The breakfast was extensive in a large dining hall. The ambiance wasn't very appealing, but no one could go hungry there!

Past its prime
Very average. Small, dingy, too soft mattress-nothing to write home about and overpriced.
We first stayed there in 2005. Glad to see the nicely renovated rooms which were clean and comfortable. The property is a very nice, green campus with ample parking, well suited for families, and small or large groups. The hotel has a very nice shop and access to a huge shop (with the ancient boat display) within a few minutes walk. Unfortunately we were too busy sightseeing during our days there to try the pool, which looked good... never made it to the beach area. We only had the buffet breakfasts, which were OK. Dinner price seemed little high, so we didn't try it. However, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
