"We spent 16 wonderful days at the Centara Ras Fushi Resort on Giraavaru. Here is our take on the different aspects of that stay: Giraavaru is in the immediate vicinity of Male in the North Male Atoll. On one side this is good, as it means a very short boat ride for transfer from/to the Airport. On the other side, it means lots of Boat traffic and extreme light pollution from Male and the Commercial/Container Harbour. "Beautiful property, but if you stay here be sure to get the all inclusive package or bring a LOT of extra money! Everything had the price listed as cost++. Which meant the price listed + 17% for taxes (ok, they can’t do anything about that) but the + another 10% for the resort. Just because they can?? I wasn’t a big fan of the food either. It was mostly Chinese and Indian food which was often really spicy. I get that those are the ethnicities that mostly go there, so they cater to them, not...

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The restaurants at the hotel were very good especially the Buffet restaurant. We also used their massage services and gym. Only thing I would mention is that it is far away from the beach."

"A decent hotel and the suite we stayed in was lovely. Our issue really comes from the lack of available tours unless sufficient guests book in, but if not enough book you’re not able to book with another tour company without paying an extortionate docking fee. The food at the buffet is average but the Italian restaurant was lovely. The staff seem very confused with requests and say they’re not allowed to make decisions and yet there is never anyone around who can. Frustrating experience"
