"Beautiful setting, nice clean and comfortable room. Has a gas fireplace and adjustable heat, which we had some trouble figuring out in spite of well-written instructions. Good coffee-making setup and provided coffee packets were generous. Didn't really have any interactions with staff. We were only there for two nights. We had a lakefront unit and there was a nice lighted stairway down to the lake. Towels nad paper products were supplied."

"We had a wonderful stay at Lutsen by the Lake! The property is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with absolutely gorgeous views right by the lake. The scenery is so peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind, which makes the experience even better. This was our second time staying here, and we’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful lakeside getaway."

"This was a most excellent stay for three nights! Every room has a balcony facing Lake Superior, so you get to see the sunrise! One thing to note about the location is that you have to travel a bit to find restaurants. The sister restaurant that is advertised with 10% off the meal is a long way from the hotel and we did not find it advantageous to go there after the first night. The best restaurant we experienced was the Coho Cafe and Bakery in Tofte. Small restaurant, but really great food!"

"This is my spot for a fall getaway during MEA. Good old fashioned north woods resort. Not fancy but very clean, very comfortable, new appliances (full refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, microwave) spectacular view, quiet and dependable service. Many people had kids and pets; great for family, safe area for a solo trip."

"We only stayed overnight. Didn’t use any of the extra you provided. Looks great though for the families. I’m handicapped so stairs and a lot of outdoor stuff is impossible for me. Stairs to restaurant bar were a challenge but I made due. Not your fault. Beautiful hotel and restaurant"
