"The grounds are gorgeous. The entire building itself was a little difficult to navigate. When in the parking garage we had no clue where to go into the building at. Then there was no desk or anyone around to get directions from. We got there pretty late and then the code didn’t work to get in the room. We texted the number that you gave us and they were quick to get back to us so that was great. "

"The hotel was beautiful and in an area that is gated and quiet. The front desk staff are the rudest people I have ever met. Be prepared to be talked to like you’re dumb. The valet staff is amazing and courteous. Front desk needs tons of training. "

"I booked my stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miramar Beach through Expedia and was incorrectly charged multiple times directly by the hotel.
Before checkout, I addressed the issue in person and was assured the charges would be reversed and that a parking fee would be removed due to the inconvenience.
A week later, I still have an outstanding $362 charge and a $30 fee that were supposed to be removed. I’ve called twice and was told it would be handled and that I would receive a follow-up...

"Stay was great overall. Easy access to the beach and loved the shuttle service. The only downside was how they said it was a breakfast buffet available for additional charge. I paid the extra fee for the amount of my stay but, to find out it was not buffet style it was à la carte. It was still good with great service from the hotel staff.

"The hotel was okay. You can tell it needs to be maintained better. My room was okay. The biggest problem was the random housekeeper knocking on my door at 8pm and then just unlocking the door when no one answered, when I called downstairs to complain, the manager said that’s why I should bolt lock my door. But since when is it normal for housekeeping to enter your room in the after hours? So customer service is not their strong suit. Would I stay here again? Probably not."

"Advertised as across the street from the Sound Wave venue. It was a mile and a half walk to get to the venue. No pool. Half a mile walk to the beach. Said we weren't booked. We got there at 2:45 pm on Thursday. Many of us were trying to reach Expedia and couldn't. The front desk needs to know how to look up reservations booked through Expedia. We finally had our room after 6:30 pm. Very disappointed"
