"Perfect condo on the beautiful island of Kimolos. Our stay was incredible. Dimitri and Christine were amazing. They welcomed us with fresh local food and made sure we had everything we needed. Our boat was delayed leaving and there was no problem staying an extra night and they even helped us with information and arrangements to catch the next boat. Thank you so much Dimitri & Christine. "Michalis Studios is a great location, especially if you are planning on beach hopping during your stay in Milos. The center of Pollonia is so serene and so peaceful, yet with so many options for mouth-watering meals. From Pollonia it is very easy to access all of the northern beaches, as well as the center of Plaka. Alexandros, the property manager, welcomed us with a personalized 'tour' of the island, highlighting the best of the best on our Milos map. He was also readily accessible throughout our stay, responding in a timely manner to our questions and requests. The rooms are clean and spacious, with enough items in the kitchen area to enjoy a basic breakfast--if you're looking to save a few euros. If you are able to book accommodation with a view of the sea, you will not regret the divine Milos sunsets from your balcony. Fair warning, the shower stall can feel a little cramped for those not used to European planning and interior design. However, it did not impact our experience at Michalis."

"Our stay at the Kalea Suites was absolutely wonderful. The owners (Pamela and Bill) were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared about making every guest feel at home. Their hospitality made our vacation even more special. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep every evening. We especially loved waking up to the stunning scenery surrounding the property—every view felt like a postcard. One of the things we appreciated most was the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel was quiet and relaxing, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. At the same time, it was conveniently located with easy access to restaurants, shops, beaches, and local attractions, making it simple to explore the area. If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable, and tranquil place to stay with outstanding hosts and a fantastic location, this boutique hotel is an excellent choice. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Milo’s."

"Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive (mostly - one breakfast there was a lack of service). The pool is great & the view beautiful. However, it didn’t feel like good value for money for a 4-star hotel. It was the most expensive hotel on our trip around a few islands & it felt a little tired & the food at breakfast felt packeted rather than fresh. Improving the quality of the breakfast/food would go a long way. Staff at the front desk were good."

"This hotel was at a beautiful location with a very spacious room! The continental breakfast was delicious with a good variety of foods! The owner, Dimitri was ex tremely generous with the bottled water he gave us and very accommodating! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The area was very quaint and quiet. The restaurants were within walking distance. We would highly recommend this hotel!"

"Our view here was 5 star! Our room & balcony was very clean…the maid worked extremely hard to keep all the volcanic dust off of the tile floors in the hallways and rooms. The location was good for walking around Pollonia. However we had cold showers for 3 out of the 5 nights stay. We notified the front office the first time. Apparently they have to flip a heater breaker for the water heater when the solar hot water runs out. The second time they had a new person and she didn’t know what to do but called on her cell for help. I waited an hour, but the water never got warm so I took another cold shower. I notified the regular reception person the next day and told her our flight would be early the next morning. She explained their solar water heater problem again and I was hoping she would make sure we had hot water. However she doesn’t arrive till later so we had cold showers the morning we were leaving again. Honestly this is such a simple fix…an automated switch can be put in so that a human doesn’t have to be present to get hot water to its hotel guests. I really liked this spot but other reviews mentioned the hot water problem. I wish we could have found another hotel with the wonderful water view."
