For the extremely high price, this hotel is terrible. Small but adequate rooms. But the staff were not pleasant or helpful at all. Pull in hot tub were broken the entire time. And apparently this has been going on for months based on other reviews. The town itself is extremely uninteresting. Dining options are abysmal. The only thing that’s remotely good about this area. Is the state parks in the national forest. It would’ve actually been cheaper to stay in a lodge at the beautiful waterfalls State Park. This is joke. I am an Expedia platinum member, and can honestly say, it is the worst value for a hotel that I have experienced in several hundred hotel stays through Expedia.

Great Hotel
Our trip was amazing. I'm from Elkins, and my mom used to work at this hotel when I was younger, so I know the area. The hotel was very clean, which is what I look for at a hotel. Michael (who worked the front desk) was wonderful and kind!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating with all of our needs. We actually had a very late check in,and the young lady was so kind when we asked for a room on the first floor.( the rooms were already assigned,) She pleasantly hooked us up nicely without hesitation. Are stays here are always great!

The breakfast area is way too small, perhaps 2 to 3 times too small. So, even with marginal occupancy, you may not find a place to sit to eat.

Nice but noisy
Clean, service was good. Was noisy. Could hear everything - people walking upstairs, kids yelling in the hallway, every time someone got ice from several rooms away from the ice machine.
