Horrible , I’ve never seen so many bugs in a hotel room before, mold and dirt everywhere and the sheets were stained, I couldn’t stay more than 4 hours

The bedding was covered in hair and our bathroom door would not close. We also never got the wifi to work in room after calls to the front desk. Worked fine outside though

When we got in the room 107 power in half the room didn’t work they had to reset the switch. The light socket the desk sparked blew the power they had to reset, to find out it was incorrectly in. When we left to go to the fair the next day we put the do not disturb sign up since we had a dog in there all though he was in a kennel. They entered anyway made the beds took the used paper cups and towels and didn’t replace them. The floor was filthy needed steam cleaned. Others who were staying had similar problems. DONT STAY THERE RUN SPEND MORE ON ANOTHER PLACE

We arrived at 2:46pm and the girl at the counter would not let us check in early. Check in was at 3pm. I said we wouldn't be able to come back until about 10pm and to please make sure we got a downstairs room because my wife has a hard time with stairs. She told me she understood and would make sure we got a downstairs room but when we arrived later that evening she was gone and there were no downstairs rooms available. Very disappointed in that. The room however was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Pancakes on a stick, cold cereal and some weird automatic pancake machine that didn't work. Not sure we would start here again to be honest.

We have stayed here twice, never again. Elgin is very limited on motels. We were tired of the worn out Holiday Inn so we thought this would be better since we saw it being built. It's terrible. Here's why: 1. It's dirty. The carpet was stained and I didn't walk barefoot on it. 2. It's dangerous. There is a really rough neighborhood right behind it and no fence or anything. The car next to us had a broken window when we came out in the morning. 3. Housekeeping is not good. The sheet was stained and had hair on it, the pillow had mascara on it. We asked for fresh sheets and they also had hair on them. 4. The bathroom was bad. The toilet moved around on the floor. Sideways and rocked. The bathroom door couldn't be closed because it hit the toilet. This place was constructed in the last 5 years, don't understand how it is so run down already.

Overall the stay was good for the price. The one of two doors to enter the property that should have been only opened by a room key was “out of order” and usually just propped open by a rock, so a little unsafe and made it more like a motel. We had 4 pillows for our king size bed, and I was 36 weeks pregnant and asked for a few more and was told absolutely not… so thank god my father had an extra bed with pillows I could borrow for our stay, otherwise I would have been absolutely miserable. Just shocking they wouldn’t be accommodating and give us a few pillows. We didn’t need anything else, but if we did, I feel like they would have said no? Otherwise it was clean enough and we weren’t disturbed by other guests, so noise wasn’t an issue. My father tried the breakfast buffet and said don’t bother waking up for it.

Good place to stay.
This time everything worked in the room. Had house keeping without having to ask for it. Pillows are still small so bring extras with you. You do have 4 small pillows on a king bed. Stayed here to weekends in a row with no real problems. If you plan on eating the continental breakfast get there early after about 0800 there is not much remaining.

The problem was with Travelocity, the hotel didnt have my reservation from Travelocity, I had to pay for my room twice because Travelocity screwed up and didn’t actually reserve my room after I paid them for it. Quality Inn is fine, Travelocity is a RIP-OFF

Great place to stay, clean and comfortable. Lights by the bed did not work, but not a real problem. Did get offered room service, this was great first time in a long time.

The property was in a great location for an easy drive to see family in McDade. Overall the property looked clean and well maintained. Courtyard had activities like cornhole, pool, and picnic/seating areas. However, we had a small bug issue. Upon arrival we found a baby cockroach. No big deal. We killed it hoping that was the last one. By the next morning we had seen four more. Front desk was less than friendly, but not rude. They were not apologetic in the least bit. When we called the young lady at the front desk said she would have to talk to the manager about a room switch. Seemed to us that a room switch was a no brainer. Front desk called back promptly and said it was fine. They put us two rooms down so we were a little worried but the room seemed fine. No issues. Sadly, customer service is dead most places these days, right? We would not stay again for that reason.

Decent hotel. Over all sartisfiee. Was woken up a lot by the TV in the court yard blaring throughout the entire night. Can hear everything in the neighboring rooms as well.

Nothing special, but all good, breakfast was really slim, if you didn't want to use the auto pancake maker. Seemed like a safe place, but again, nothing special. But didn't pay for special.

Black bugs in the restroom - needs routine spraying. Commode seat very crooked. This is an easy fix. Cars parked along the tree line are easy targets. A fence in front of the trees would help to discourage break-ins.
