I was visiting the area for work, arrived late one evening and left early the next morning, but what I experienced of the Ardgye was lovely. Beautiful house and garden, friendly and efficient welcome, spacious, clean and well equipped room, delicious breakfast.
First time in a bed and breakfast, as they called it.
House in ideal location for us, very spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast very good.
Only one little niggle, not having stayed in bed and breakfast, on 2nd day asked for clean towels as others were damp, the retort was ' in a bed and breakfast we do not change towels and I have never been asked in 25 years'.
Harsh and unnecessary reply.
We loved the historic nature of the building, with large rooms full of wood panelling and wonderful artwork, comfortable bedroom, and quiet location set in 150 acres. Very good value for money and wonderful, organic breakfasts. Kerry could not have been more friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you for an outstanding experience.
Excellent experience from someone who spends a lot of time travelling and in hotels. The experience was wonderfully simple and uncomplicated topped off with an amazing breakfast.
Beautiful house set in lovely secluded location on the outskirts of Elgin. Although there are no rooms downstairs (if you needed) the rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable and light. More than enough room for us all. The host, Kerry was lovely, warm and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend
One of our favourite B&B's of our UK trip. We booked a King Room with our own ensuite and the room was spacious, very clean and tidy with lovely decor and amenities, and the breakfast served each morning was filling and tasty. Free parking onsite and just a short drive into town.
Was made to feel very welcome! Huge room in a comfortable classic style with beautiful window seats in both bedroom and bathroom. Heater available should I feel cold, and as well as the beds there was a sofa area with stunning views over the grounds. Downstairs are 2 large comfortable guest lounges. Breakfast was really good in the morning and served quickly to suit my departure for work. Whole atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed and I would definitely return here.Lots of car parking outside and even electric charge points for cars. It was only 2 miles to the edge of Elgin so just took a few minutes to get there.
Nice, friendly, homely bed and breakfast. Had one of the best nights sleep, the bed was so comfortable. Couldn't fault the breakfast, with plenty of choice. Can't comment on the local area as didn't get much time to explore but if I am ever in the area again I would definitely stay here again
Travelling around moray area so only stayed 1 night following brothers recommendation lovely cosy family owned old manor house in own grounds saw a young deer on arrival , great breakfast with locally sourced produce including own free range eggs and aunty marions home made marmalade mm delicious wish we could have stayed longer but hotel was fully booked car needed but great location for the whiskey trail and other towns along the coast would definately stay here again if in the area
Friendly welcome, amazing large rooms and spacious bathroom. Views spectacular from room and everything to a high standard.
Breakfast lived up to expectations when staying at any Scottish B & B, fresh and appetising - good start to the day ahead
This hotel is around 6 miles outside of Elgin and is in beatiful surroundings.
Everything within the hotel was excellent from the welcoming staff, overall service down to the cleanliness of the rooms. Nothing could be faulted. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was very powerful.
Breakfast was served from 7.30am which was after I had to leave so I can't comment on that.
There are no dining facilities at the hotel so I had to go back into the City Centre to eat in the evening.
There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and complimentary bottled water.
Highly recommended and I would stay again if in the area.
Beautiful hose set in its own grounds away from the main road. Very well maintained with spacious room and welcoming host. Excellent breakfast with good choice of local foods. I would definitely return.

Overnight in Ardgye House
It was very comfortable, nice big room and an excellent breakfast
Great B and B in a quiet setting very welcoming on arrival.Room cosy.Ensuite with large shower and use of another bathroom with bath if you wish.Room to sit in bedroom as chairs and small table but lounge area for guests as well, stocked with books and whisky which we did not sample but presume it is an honesty bar.
Breakfast particularly good with nice touches of local free range eggs and produce and Aunties homemade marmalade.
Brilliant stay. Beautiful accommodation lovely staff and great breakfast. Host is very friendly and helpful lots of nice touches in the room to make your stay extra comfortable.
From the friendly welcome, to the delicious breakfasts and the whisky decanter in the lounge, we enjoyed a lovely stay at Ardgye House. It is peaceful, yet convenient; the room was huge and very comfortable with an amazing shower in the bathroom too. The house itself is very interesting and has many elegant original features.
