"Lovely building in quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. The garden games were fun. Although there isn't a bar, as such, a good selection of drinks are kept in 'Mother Superior's' office and available via calling reception. There is no restaurant on site but there are restaurants nearby. Overall a pleasant stay. 5 stars would be achieved by offering breakfast even a continental type."

"Great location as you can walk to the town centre quickly. Staff were nice .Rooms were cleaned well except the pillows. I have only a few things I dislike, remember we tend to comment on the things we dislike. The room had an ant problem, bed pillows smelt of body odour and absolutely rubbish lighting in entire room. Putting on makeup was hard as no natural or proper bathroom lights. Oh wait , I could hear all the noise very clear from the pub as we were positioned next to it but fortunately...

My goal is to provide realistic expectations; if you seek a basic comfortable stay - this is NOT your place. If you want boisterous pub atmosphere, this is your place. Overall; pleasant staff, standard pub fare, awful overnight experiences. Management’s priority is the pub patrons - we applaud them for taking this responsibility seriously. However, we chose this location for its represented charm &...
