"We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our vacation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was excellent, and both reservation restaurants exceeded our expectations. What really made this resort special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. The reception team, restaurant staff, housekeeping, bartenders, and all employees we encountered throughout the resort were outstanding. A special thank you to the entertainment and recreation team. They did an amazing job every day, keeping guests engaged with fun activities and creating a great atmosphere throughout the week. Unfortunately, I don't remember all their names, but every member of the team was fantastic and deserves recognition for their hard work and positive energy. The pools, facilities, service, and overall experience were excellent. If I could give more than 10 stars for the staff and service, I would. The only thing I wish I had known before booking is that the beach water in this area is not the crystal-clear turquoise Caribbean water many travelers may expect. Due to the nearby river, the water appears darker and less transparent. It is not dirty, but it looks more like river water than the crystal-clear water shown in many Caribbean destination photos. Other than that, everything was excellent. We had a beautiful family vacation and would definitely recommend this resort for its service, food, entertainment, accommodations, and overall experice."

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort

"I recently stayed at the Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana and overall, the experience was mixed. Starting with check-in, the process could have been handled better. The receptionist was not very transparent or proactive—while it’s understandable if upgrades or requests aren’t available, clearer communication would have made a big difference in setting expectations from the start. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. Out of all the options available, only about 1 out of every 8 dishes was actually good. Variety was there, but quality and consistency were lacking. At the lunch buffet, it was especially frustrating that they took around 30 minutes after opening to bring out the steak, which made it feel intentional—like guests were being pushed to fill up on other items first. Service overall needs improvement. While there were some standout servers who were genuinely attentive and kind, others came across as uninterested or not very friendly, which made the experience inconsistent depending on who you interacted with. As for the drinks, the alcohol selection is on the cheaper side, and you can definitely tell in both taste and quality. On a positive note, the property itself is nice, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious, even if a bit basic. In summary, the hotel has potential, but it falls short in key areas like food quality, service consistency, and overall guest experience. With some improvements, it could be a much better stay."
