"Did not like the food"

"Great value, excellent service, and a fun family stay We had a great stay at Ocean El Faro and felt it was excellent value for the price. Overall, we would definitely return. The beach was one of the highlights. There’s an area with rougher waves that were fun, and if you walk a bit further down, you can find a calmer section that’s perfect for relaxing and swimming. It was nice having both options. Our concierge, Jose, was outstanding. He booked all of our restaurant reservations and was always quick to help with any questions or concerns. One surprise was that the resort does not carry alcohol-free beer, but Jose went above and beyond by picking some up for me off the resort for a small charge and having it stocked in our room — much appreciated. The restaurants were very good. Dolce Vita was our favorite, and we enjoyed it so much that we went twice. The Mexican restaurant was our least favorite. The buffet had lots of good options, and the snack bar was perfect for a quick bite when you didn’t want a full meal. One downside was that there were no sit-down breakfast or lunch options available if you weren’t part of the Privilege Club and were traveling with kids. This was a minor inconvenience, as the buffet and snack bar were quick and efficient and actually allowed us to spend more time at the beach. The lazy river was an excellent addition, though it could be frustrating at times as some guests would “hog” the tubes. Overall great resort and would reccomend. "
