Farmstay in El Seibo

"We went to Ocean El Faro from March 17-24, two couples with two teenage boys each. Before going, we read several reviews complaining about all sorts of things, but rest assured if you are considering going, these are NOT to be taken with any weight at all. Our entire experience exceeded expectations, from the grounds to the facilities to the staff and the service - it was all great! The food may not be five star every bite, but it’s not far off. The buffet is amazing with tons of variety and the a la carte restaurants were each a fun and delightful experience. The pools are awesome, the service at the bars was great, the beach was clean and not rocky other than in front of the el Beso side, the lazy river and bowling alley and night time shows were fabulous. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfy. It was all good!! The highlight for us was our concierge Miguel Garrido. This gentleman took impeccable care of us from the moment we arrived. He helped us with dinner reservations every night, including a special birthday surprise, he made sure we had everything we needed each day, ensured our rooms were stocked and made us feel at home and attended to from start to finish. A huge 10/10 for you Miguel - gracias amigo!!! Highly recommend this place. Hands down."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful, the property and the beach is awesome, restaurants are great and awesome food but could use more a more diversified menu (specially more GF options) and they need a chef that knows how to cook steak better (specially the tomahawk steak), my only complain is the nightlife the super loud music with bad sound, and the activities equipment could use a refresh. Otherwise if you’re looking to relax, I highly recommend it. "
