"We spent 6 nights at this hotel and the power went off at least once a day, usually in the evening/nighttime. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but is something bare in mind, especially as it is very warm there and the air conditioning stopped working. The people at the hotel were always there to help and the breakfast ($5) and dinner ($6) were well-priced and very good. There was always somebody around who talked to you. "It was perfect stay and The host was really gorgeous! We have the best options here: mango fresh as welcome drink, 4 hours horse riding, wi-fi connection, fully and tasty breakfast. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere is here. Too many cafes, restaurants and little markets around within walking distance, nice and safety area. Here is really good start for a nature trip around. I rally recommend this place to stay!"

"Our stay at Casa Los Rubios was a delight! Alberto and Sonia were very attentive and contacted us ahead of our arrival. They helped us to organise a hiking trip, rent bikes and arrange our onward travel and accomodation in Playa Largo. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and enjoyed a well stocked fridge of beer!"
