"We paid the $52 dollar Pet Fee but when we arrived with our Golden Retriever on Leash the "house Dog was present and had to be removed before we could get to our room it as we were told it was very unfriendly towards other dogs - That night on return at 9:30 the House dog was running loose at hotel with no Mgmt around and it created an uncomfortable situation- It then hung around our Door precluding us from Walking our Dog for his nightly pee.,essentially we did not feel comfortable with our Dog on Leash on site due to the "house Dog" lurking around. Rooms were clean -minimalist. the 2 Pillows on Bed were huge thick foam things that wre unusable and having no pillow made for an uncomfortable night for $300 a night a coffee maker in room would be the right thing to do especially when at 7:30 there is no Staff at Kitchen and NO Coffee out for Guests. Could be a great place if they would think a bit more about their dog issue and Customer comfort. "

"The staff greeted us as soon as we arrived and gave us a quick rundown. The room was very spacious and clean, and everything seemed to be fairly new. The property was very quiet and peaceful, and the pool was fantastic. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could've stayed longer. We would happily return. "

"We had an amazing night at Baja 69. The resort is a little off the beaten path, but that is also what gives it its charm. Every room has an ocean view, and the immaculate grounds are maintained by the owner whom is also very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely recommend staying here. Make sure you ask for the breakfast!"

"Ocean view room was great for whale watching but somewhat limited by palm trees. Been several times, gorgeous property, great staff and excellent food (albeit a little pricy, but to be expected). While outside of the hotel’s control, the loud music at the weekend from the fishing camp next door and the jeeps camped right outside our room on the beach somewhat spoiled the serenity vibe. "

"This place has a great location and has tons of potential. Unfortunately, we ran into a few problems. Some were fixed and others were not. The host was great, attentive and apologetic. The property however has some inherent problems. Our mountain view deluxe suite had no patio furniture excepnwhat appeared to be a small desk chair and table, the refrigerator was unplugged and smelled awful and wasn't usable, the a/c and fan we're in operational ( a/c function was restored almost immediately),.toilet was slow to flush/refill. No beach towels or chairs were provided. Limited searing around pool deck. Just a lot of details that we're definitely lacking. For the money it felt more like camping. Really love this beach town and surrounds but would choose another accomodation next time, sadly. "

"This resort is incredible. They have beautiful walking paths and gardens. Their spa has separate saunas, showers, and hot tubs for men and women. There are several pools and restaurants on the property to choose from. The plunge pool on our balcony overlooking the ocean was so relaxing. We went in February and the weather was perfect and we saw whales every day. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. "
