"To begin, I booked this hotel because of its proximity to downtown - not for the amenities. That said, Zebra Unicorn is branded as a boutique luxury hotel - a role in which it fails abysmally. Let's be clear regarding parameters: Luxury to me means being free of all concern. Unfortunately Zebra Unicorn only added to mine.This began even before check in - as I was asked to provide an abundance of information prior to being given instructions for arrival. "The property and staff were wonderful. The card key system was lacking. We stayed for 4 nights and everyday at checkout time we were locked out of our room and had to get our cards reactivated. This also happened when we wanted to enter the pool area. It would also be nice to have the outside area open until 10. The stars and views are so beautiful but we were closed out at 9 and had to sit in our room. Breakfast was pretty good. Location great. "

"What a fun place to stay! This is a renovated motel with art and murals everywhere. It was a very clean, and fun to explore. The pool felt great. We enjoyed the oatmeal bar before our desert hike, too. Easy drive to downtown. "

"My mom and i enjoyed our stay at the Tuxon . The general manager /aka Bartender was awesome and super friendly . The pool is sparkling clean and the rooms were updated and modern and the beds were comfy ! Definitely would stay again!"
