"Really great week at MAAR Suites. The apartment was clean, spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. Location is excellent with a 30 second walk to the beach front, 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars and several stores around the corner. Wouldn't hesitate to come back."

"We have been to this resort a number of times. It's certainly the best for comfort and location. Everyone is very friendly. It's a shame there is no aircon in the lounge area of the villa, however it is provided in the bedroom. I can't recommend this resort enough."

"We went in January for some winter sun, we were very much looking forward to our first family holiday with our 10 month old, relaxing by the pool. It was really disappointing and upsetting that we could not use the pool due to the extremely cold water temperature, I feel this is something that should be made clear to potential customers when they are booking, especially regarding the temperature of the baby pool. "We had a wonderful 9 days at Barcelo Playa Blanca. It was a wonderful hotel with amazing facilities, incredibly clean and rooms were fantastic. This was pretty much the first time we’ve done a half board basis and the value was amazing, saving us a fortune for a family of 6 where we normally spend upwards of £150 a day on food and eating out. So overall a fantastic trip, a superb hotel with great staff, service and amazing facilities. "
