"This was our 5th time to stay at this hotel and we’ve had nothing but good experiences. We always holiday in Playa Blanca and have tried other 5* hotels but we always return to The Volcan. The staff, as always, is so friendly and accommodating. I love how they’ve kept the traditional Spanish feel and decor that makes it a joy to walk around and that they have added modern touches without losing it’s authenticity. It is always spotlessly clean and has the best breakfast buffet with so much choice. Highly recommended."

"The main pool is too cold to use however there is a covered pool which is much warmer. The kids pool is slightly warmer but still too cold for kids to spend too long in. Hotel grounds, rooms and communal areas are very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is buffet style and perfectly acceptable. "

"We stayed for 4 days and generally enjoyed it. The location is great, easy to get to and travel from, and the staff are very responsive. There’s a lot to do activities-wise during the day, but all activities finish about 1am latest, although that may change in summer. The food was fine- not incredible but more than fine for just four days, there was enough variety. Overall, a very enjoyable experience "

"Our second visit to this hotel and we were really happy with everything. The staff are always polite and helpful, the room ample for our needs, breakfast was very good and always nice to get a few goodies on arrival. Some minor tidying up of the building was needed but their were workmen in, tidying up so all good and certainly not a major problem. We would definitely stay here again. "

"This was our first time in Lanzarote and of course this resort. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room lovely (junior suite) and always well tended to by those lovely house keepers. The pools looked good, we didn't use them (we're not pool people). So, we had a great holiday."

"Wir bevorzugen normalerweise kleine Hotels, aber dieses grössere Hotel hat uns trotzdem sehr positiv überrascht. Die Atmosphäre war trotz der vielen Zimmer angenehm. Das Essen in Buffetform war sehr lecker, stets frisch und wurde laufend aufgefüllt. Besonders das Frühstück war unglaublich reichhaltig. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber und angenehm. Die Promenade ist sehr schön, und Playa Blancs ist bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen."
