It was such a treat to stay at this property. The glamping was so gorgeous, beautiful view so relaxing and romantic, loved every minute. Plan to go back with friends and will take the glamping again.

We arrived during a tropical storm so the weather conditions were not ideal, however the hotel staff made it as pleasant and comfortable as they could and it showed!

Dengue Chikungunya zika danger dont go

The lake is beautiful, the place is nice, security is ok, the people give good service BUT….there is a high danger of the 3 deseases and there are many moquitos, especially during the rain season that starts in May. According to the locals hospitals are filled in that time. The hotels have no plan, do not fumigate, do not inform, do not do anything to avoid the number of moquitos in the room with that risk. When addressed they ignore as they are not the decisionmakers. The authorities are making a big mistake, it is almost impossible to avoid getting stung, I killed pn arrival more than 70 mosquitos in the room and closed all possible entries, slept with clothes and repellent on and still got stung many times. The bites are nasty and hurt for days. Dont go unless they are starting to take care of this danger as they do now with security. Other countries fumigate, secure and inform, el salvador does not seem to do that putting tourists in unnecessary danger, especially children under 5 is was told by locals.

Lovely resort. We had a very spacious room so enjoyable to be in when relaxing. Great view over the lake. Pool was nice and very clean. We arrived really late at night as our flight was pushed back 6 hours. We didn’t get there till about 12:30. We communicated with them through WhatsApp and they sent us directions on how to get in. How to find our room. And a number to call if we had problems. Which we did as Expedia’s directions took us 12 minutes away from room and in El Salvador it seems to be really hard to find accurate addresses to map. We messaged and the person dropped a pin for us and we found it perfectly. So the staff were great. One downside, we didn’t have hot water. That’s somewhat the norm in Central America but we really have a hard time showering in cold water.

Beautiful view and clean, only thing I would recommend is for someone to stay overnight for the well being of the guest, during my stay, there was a group of guest that were being loud past 10pm until I asked them to please keep it down and the gate was left open..so an overnight guard would be beneficial for the safety and comfort for everyone staying there. I would have given it 5 stars if it wouldn't of been for that.

If you are looking for technology entertainment it is not that friendly because TV only had one channel however there is wifi but there are plenty of water activities to do. But everything was spectacular. I would definitely book again.
