Pass.
It’s definitely a cute concept and very pretty on the outside.
However… The rooms are so run down and pretty bad.
My room had a toilet that never stopped running. I let front desk know and their solution was for me to open the top and pull up the lever each time I flushed. The next day, they said it was fixed. It wasn’t. I actually think they did not really send someone to fix it.
The shower doesn’t drain while you are showering. I had water higher than my ankles, gross. I had to wash my feet in the bathroom sink after my shower. The shower also had a lot of mold. The towels are course and thin.
There were SEVERAL parts of the wall of the room where the paint had lifted. The key is an old school skeleton key which was very pretty but huge and not practical. I would have liked an interior lock on the door, even though I know El Calafate is an extremely safe place.
The breakfast was not fresh. I could not bring myself to eat the breakfast. The young lady at breakfast had such a bad attitude at all times.
The front desk attendants were very, very nice and helpful.
There are beautiful gardens all around the hotel.
The hotel is in a prime location, walkable to some many stores and restaurants.
We rented a car and parking was free and easy.
