The Calafate is a beautiful town, there are many activities to do, The Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the must and The Chaltén another must you do, El Fuerte Hotel has an amazing panoramic view of the city and the lake, the rooms are ok, the food delicious and the service is excellent

La posizione dell'hotel è fantastica. Si gode una stupenda vista sulla città e sul lago argentino incorniciato dalle montagne. L'ambiente è rilassante e familiare. Il propietario accogliente e disponibile a consigli e aiuto. Un grazie particolare al suo giovane figlio Tomas per la sua gentilezza e grazia. Siamo stati benissimo!

Receptionist sympa mais le Chambre très petite et salle de bain 1.5x2 m petite fenêtre et un petit déjeuner très triste et basique. J’étais obligé de demander qu’on nous donne du pain et les qualités des produit mauvais et radine. Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix/ situation très loin de tout même soit disons panoramique . A Home far from home.

It was really amazing. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. Cleanliness was spot on. The buffet breakfast was really good. the view from the hotel was amazing. I definitely recommend people to stay in here. I haven’t been in a hotel with as good people as this one.

El establecimiento está bien para ser 3 estrellas. El administrador y la recepcionista Jéssica son muy amables y buscaron mil maneras para resolver nuestras inquietudes. La vista del lugar es muy linda. La cocina es mala y el chef muy poco amable. Decidimos comer todos los días fuera por esta razón

the bad : very old hotel. maybe 1 star. more like 80’s style hotel with old beds and thin walls. do not get a room close to the reception area its very noist at times. the good: Very helpful family running the place the view from the hotel is amazing

I turned up to this hotel having booked and paid many months previously to be told there was no room for us.(I cant believe they couldn't have emailed me to let me know) The owner said he ha found us another place to stay and that they would throw in a dinner as compensation. the other hotel was nearby,(and I think would have been better than the one we were rejected from). Expedia should look at there booking system as the owner blamed them for there being no room( I didnt believe that) anyway we ended up staying at Tehuel plaza and I would give it 10 out of 10 and thoroughly recomend it as a good place to stay. the dinners they supplied vere very tasty and seemed like home cooked argantine food

Intimate experience with an excellent view

The staff made the experience very intimate and lovely as they were very accommodating to us. The only slight downside was the size of the room and the fact that people would be turned off by the location of the hotel compared to some closer to the centre.

Traumhafte Aussieht

Traumhafte, ruhige Lage. Auch wenn man ca. eine halbe Stunde zu Fuß in den Ort braucht. Zu den Touren wird man am Hotel abgeholt und wieder zurück gebracht. Das Frühstück ist gut und man kann abends sehr preiswert und gut im Restaurant des Hotels essen. Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Wir würden das Hotel immer wieder buchen.
