"We arrived at 2100 after a long day and we were told the hotel had overbooked the room and receptionist didn't help us to arrange alternative accomodation which caused lots of stress as we found ourselves with nowhere to stay in an unsafe city so late at night. We had to find our alternative accomodation with no assistance from anyone. Next day our room was available on the second night. The hotel is basic,with minimum facilities and facing a very noisy street even at night time It's next to a mosque so you hear the call to prayer early morning. I would not recommend this hotel as I found the experience and customer service very poor. "

"Very cozy Riad. The staff are very warm and friendly! Breakfast was served at 9 and it was comforting and delicious. Fatima and her staff are great hosts. It is located really close the Blue Gate of the Medina and there are a few banks and atms, which is a plus! If you are a light sleeper, you might have some trouble sleeping because you can hear people if they come into the Riad "

"Hotel Sahrai was exceptional! A beautifully designed hotel for a great price! Rooms were beautiful and clean and bathroom beautifully designed and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, great pool, fantastic food! , check in with tea and pasties to the room were all special touches. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us- and let us checkout late since we had a late flight. The breakfast was delicious and bar was open late for drinks and music at Jungle- very fun! The food - Italian and moroccoan and Lebanese were all amazing! The pizza, foccacia, and sandwiches were more delicious than in NYC! prices for drinks and food were reasonable too. I would definitely stay again soon, I hope! Fantastic stay at great prices!"

"Property is beautiful. The pool area, even though we didn’t get to use it because of the weather, is pristine. The stairwells and the balconies, everything is clean and decorated beautifully. The service is OFF THE CHARTS! The guys that work there are exceptional and go above and beyond to help with bags, directions, anything. Breakfast is AMAZING!!!! My only complaint would be the handheld shower situation. It has one of those half glass shower doors, so basically the entire bathroom can get flooded with water every time you shower. And there is pretty much a limit of only getting one towel per person. We were ready to go to one of the souks two actually buy towels so we could keep the floor dry."

"If you go anticipating a kind of faded glory, Moroccan grand Riad on the edge of the Medina then you will be pleased with your choice. Great view from the rooftop. Tea on arrival. Yousaf explained where we should visit. A really good time. Also in March – and probably slightly out of the season – it was not too busy. And modestly priced. Definitely worth a visit."
