"Very nice hotel for the price - right in the center of the town. Easy check in, wifi, nice room, very clean, great person at the desk with lots of suggestions, and outstanding breakfast for 12 euros per person. Only very minor issue was we had to park a ways away in a parkade because they only have a few paid spots at the hotel, but was really no problem. "

"The hotel is a very old fashioned place, frozen in time. Rooms were clean but small and the bathrooms were very tight. However, the breakfast was very good and the city of Monschau is a must see, very picturesque little city, just lovely. Just a warning, everything closes early. "

German road trip.
"We are currently on a road trip in Germany and this was our first night. We had been travelling for many, many hours and needed somewhere to stay. This hotel was great. The location was simply stunning. The room was comfortable and tidy. Also a very nice size. The balcony let you have a lovely view of the lake. Check in was superb and very efficient. The breakfast was good with a great selection. There isn’t a lot around the hotel (there is a little shop/bar opposite), so be prepared for this. There is a hotel next door that has a good restaurant. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came up. "
