"We loved our stay at the July & Boat Co. Our room was beautifully decorated & spacious with a comfortable King Size Bed. We loved having a kitchenette & sitting area as well. Wonderful place to come back to & relax after spending time in the city or touring during the day. Great staff, delicious breakfast & beautiful lobby and restaurant. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the patio for a drink or food with a great view of the water. Would definitely stay again when we return to Amsterdam."

"The staff was great even before arrival. There was a transit strike the day of our arrival and I was notified by one of the staff members via message in regard to that and they offered to book us a taxi from the airport to the hotel. That worked out perfectly! They were all very helpful with any questions we had and sight seeing suggestions too. The room was clean and very nice. Beds were comfortable as well. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Amsterdam!"

"Cons: Room needed more table or lamp lighting. I ended up borrowing a lamp from the lobby table. Also could have used dim lighting at the bunk beds. We had the family room with two kids, so when the overhead lights went off, the bunkbed corridor felt very dark and creepy. Consider putting plugs at the bunkbeds for electronics access Room and bathroom trashcans were super small Room temperature felt very warm, could only adjust down to 67 degrees Would have loved for real washcloths in the room vs. the paper ones. Pros: Nice size family room Clean common areas Loved the coffee room Beautiful hotel overall"

"The rooms were clean but very small. The breakfst was good and the staff did an excelent job of managing the high guest count on accoount of the business confrence that was going on in town that drew crowds from around the world. Very close to the train station (2 minute walk) that makes it easy to take the train into Amsterdam Central. Would come back again. Zaandam is a beautiful city."
