"It was a welcomed stay as both my husband and I really needed a night away to relax. The property is clean enough and I wouldn't be afraid to stay again, but let's say my house after a clean on Saturday is much cleaner. The owner wasn't going out of her way to accommodate but she was kind. The breakfast however is subpar, scrambled eggs with a heated frozen patty (undercooked) and a can of cocktail fruit in a bowl wasn't what I was hoping for in my bed and breakfast. "Breakfast was so so. Everything seemed to be bla. Even the mild coffee was very dark and not very tasty. Left the Hotel and went to Tim Hortens for coffee Ice machine on our floor "3rd" was out of order. By looking at the bathroom, especially shower, you wouldn't think this was a new hotel."

"We really liked the fact it was pet-friendly. Our room had sliding glass doors on the shower so we could put kitty into the shower area, jam a towel intothe space between them to keep them closed and then still use the bathroom. We never let her out into the main room because on a different trip she got out and hid under the bed - not fun getting her out from that!! I also liked the friendly service - even though there were a lot of gurest and demands, he showed us the room and was very helpful...

"I thought the property was great for the value. It was clean, and well prepared. Everything was very well thought out, and brillianty laid out. I misread that there was a children's pool and a beach, but there is a beautiful beach 1km away I would definitely stay here again. Oh and we relived our childhood experiences at Upper Canada Village."

"When I arrived at check in there were two police there with a barely dressed person whom they seemed to be checking out. Then social workers came in as well to deal with the situation. I don’t know what was going on but it made me concerned about the safety of the hotel for guests. The parking lot was in poor condition and the outdoor pool not just closed but scattered with debris. The room was clean enough but the halls and common areas seemed worn."
