Cleanliness was okay, and some of the staff were okay as well — but unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing.
We had a major issue with water shortages. On Saturday afternoon, we were out at the mall and returned to the hotel at night, then went straight to the pool. When we finally went back to our room, we realized there was no running water at all.
We contacted the front desk and were told it would be back within a few hours. However, the water did not return until the next day around 7 a.m. To make matters worse, we were told it was a city-wide issue, which later turned out to be untrue. That dishonesty was extremely frustrating — guests should have been informed properly instead of being misled.
At one point, we explained that we urgently needed to use the toilet, and the only advice given was to “use it anyway and just leave it,” which was honestly gross and unacceptable.
Many other guests were also complaining that day, yet we still had to pay in full and did not receive any compensation, partial refund, or even a proper apology for the inconvenience.
Overall, it was a stressful and unpleasant experience. I would recommend staying away from this hotel — if you can spend a little more, it’s definitely worth choosing somewhere else.
