Room cleanliness was good, amenities were nicely maintained, and the breakfast was adequate. The linger sewer smell throughout the whole lower level was off-putting, there was maintenance going on directly above us throughout the day, and the customer service was bad. Let me explain; we booked the suite as we had a child having surgery in Edmonton on the Monday. We wanted them to be able to sleep comfortably when we got back from the hospital while the wife and I sat in the front room. All was good until the construction started at 11am. We asked front desk about maybe switching rooms, or getting construction to switch rooms while our child recovered in bed. The response was, and I quote “ you booked through Expedia, so we can’t help you”. That’s not customer service, it doesn’t matter who I booked through, you are getting my money, help a brother out. Either way, we made do, but because of the negatives (two of which could have been rectified) I have to say 2/5 stars
