"The staff was excellent; the food spectacular (the chef used to work at the Hilton), they upgraded our room with no additional cost. The receptionist/waitress was very informative. The room was spotless and was cosy with nice lighting, a fireplace and electric heating. There is a lovely hike up to the top of the mountain, too. The whole place is very clean and organized with both indoor and outdoor thermal pools. Great for couples and families alike. "

"Everything at the lodge was good but could have been great with improved communication. Our family of four arrived at the same time as a group and we were offered the options to joint their tours on an expedited schedule (four days of activities in two days). We joined them for the full day Napo tour and really enjoyed the day but we were very rushed and had no idea what activity was next. At the end of the day, the four of us were left alone at the river bank for 45 minutes waiting for he bus...

"everything at Las Hortensia's was amazing. it's close to the airport, and the grounds are very clean and beautiful. the host is amazing. she scheduled a airport pickup for us, and arranged a taxi for the next day. my daughters loved the dogs on the property, and so did I and my wife. I highly recommend staying here, it exceeded my expectations."

"The staff was very courteous and helpful. The linens were amazing. I was glad to find AC in the room. The television had many popular apps installed so we were able to watch some television. The pool was nice and I was able to swim some laps. The free breakfast was good. It was only a short walk to Coca. It was a very nice stay."

"This is one of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed at. Every feature and design details were very thoughtful and luxurious. The extensive grounds were well maintained. The pool and spa was the highlight. It was just breathtaking how beautiful it was! Our room was very clean and comfortable. We dined at the hotel both nights that we were there and we had great meals. The view from the restaurant was phenomenal. The staff was fantastic and attentive. I highly recommend Samari resort! "

"Started with a very welcoming young lady greeting me, letting me get some basic Spanish out, then speaking to me in English. Great experience here. Quiet property, good food, impeccable room, a cool pool on a hot day, and at an affordable price, and a short walk to the town square. I'd most certainly saty here again!!"
