"We stayed in the Turner Suite. The hotel is beautiful and a very close walk to the Cliff Walk and also to the restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly and makes hot breakfast in the morning, fresh baked cookies, there are always snacks around, and a very social wine and appetizers around 5. The only issue we had with the Turner Suite is the very odd tub with overhead rain shower. The control for the bath is visible, but the control for the shower is hidden on the wall behind the...

"5/5 — Would absolutely stay again. We stayed at The Pell while attending a wedding at Rosecliff, and it ended up being a great home base just outside Newport. The room was beautiful, spacious, and extremely clean, and the bathroom was especially great for getting ready for a wedding. The entire property felt welcoming, parking was plentiful, and the staff across the board were genuinely kind and helpful. They all deserve a raise. A special shoutout to Nicholas, who was exceptionally helpful...

"The warm pastries and yogurt parfait delivered to your door in the morning were simply exquisite. I went to the terrace to eat to watch the sun come up. Very nice experience. I don’t mind hearing people having fun, working by myself most days, so the sounds of the nearby restaurant didn’t bother me. In fact, it was nice bc they make great burgers. The host was very kind and sweet when I arrived, not so much the front desk staff, but didn’t have to interact with them at all. Would come here...

"Few complaints about the inn itself. The problem started on the day before our arrival with an email from an unknown company saying "We need a valid copy of your ID before we can provide". I had fully paid for my room 8 months in advance. It turned out that the company owns this as well as other inns. The Director I spoke with on the phone implied they would not provide a room key code unless I agreed to their extensive legal conditions and sent my driver's license image."
