"We loved this place. We have never stayed at an Agrituristica before so were unsure what to expect. It could not have been nicer. Everything was clean, fresh and new. And the proprietress was lovely. We went to a wine tasting first at Gambino Winery 7 minutes away which I highly recommend. This was the perfect location for that. We left in the morning for Taormina which was an easy 35 minute drive. we are a family of Americans figuring it out as we go. This part of our trip went very easily...

"Lo Zafferaneto is an amazingly beautiful property with carefully decorated and furnished rooms (everything is spotlessly clean). All staff are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome and at home immediately. If you are a foodie you are in the right place! The owner is an absolutely fantastic chef (I highly recommend the boar ragu and deconstructed tiramisu). Breakfast is also very delicious.
