Hotel Independent di Louisiana Timur

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

The sink is a bowl ..NO counter space in such a SMALL bathroom. The bed is practically in the walkway outside open door ..there’s the bed boom! "From the point of walking through the front door greeted by the door Mann the booking was so spot on the check-in was smooth and fast air-conditioning work great rooms exceptionally clean staff was very very friendly over the top. They really close nearby shops and amenities and Bourbon Street in the French Quarter area."

"Hot shower, clean room, white sheets and friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again. There is a deposit and resort fee daily so be prepared. Hotel is central to everything so if you want to be in walking distance of some great restaurants this is the place"
