"Had booked for 3 nights stayed for 1 Room was very very noisy almost as if windows arnt even sealed as you hear every little sound and bed it against the window Room wasn’t the cleanest Only 2 pillows supplied on the bed no additional pillows or blankets etc in the empty robe"

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait till our next visit. Great value for money in choosing a room on the high floors for accessing the Horizon Club of which was excellent. Staff were lovely, very helpful and inviting. Our greatest experience for many years. A little above our usual budget but the benefits in being able to access the Horizon Club for complementary buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and a great spread of food and drink from 6-8pm made it all worthwhile. Totally awesome views. Only downside is the multiple sets of stairs to drag luggage from Circular Quay to front door was a struggle, Mack sure you grab an uber to get there."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the views were stunning, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The location on George Street was perfect, with fantastic dining, shopping, sightseeing, and bars all just steps away. We truly loved our time here and would happily stay again!"

"We needed an economical placed in CBD close to Southern Cross and this was well placed. We knew it wasn’t going to be great. It was clean. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and it was noisy with late night guests coming in a party mood and making lots of noise. but we only stayed 2 nights. Wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer. Felt a bit like a jail cell in a jail block but it was ok for a very short stay. "

"Nice hotel and I liked the room layout and the staff were great. At $550 a night I don’t think water in the room is too much to ask for along with a safe kettle and tea bags of a quality above floor sweepings and definitely not instant coffee! There were negatives but not the hotel’s fault. We didn’t realise it was a sporting event in Brisbane over the weekend that we were there, Magic Rounds?This meant that the hotel was MUCH more expensive, 3x the regular rate and an utter Bogan fest’. I had assumed that this was an Australian stereotype but they were out in force. Neanderthals with no shoes, shocking hair cuts, creepy moustaches and no social etiquette whatsoever. Wandering the corridors barefoot with a beer bottle in one hand and a phone in the other shouting loudly into it. Doors being slammed constantly, loud in the corridors and rooms and the whole place smelled of eau de McDonalds/KFC with the litter left outside the rooms a testament to its occupants. God forbid they got in a lift with you, there are weight limits in lifts for a reason. I really feel for the staff, and the housekeeping in particular, who had to deal with the mentally challenged. Would I stay again? Probably. Would I visit Brisbane during Magic Rounds again? Has Hell Frozen over yet?"
