"We had a great stay at Albert and Victoria Guesthouse. A super friendly welcome from the host on arrival, our room was lovely, spacious, clean and had the added touch of bottled water, chocolates and lovely biscuits, and a Nespresso coffee maker and pods. Comfortable bed, plenty of space in ensuite bathroom. Tasty fresh cooked breakfast, and the lovely addition of a bowl of fresh fruit salad at the table on arrival. Great location, just a few minutes walk from the seafront. Highly recommended."

"Sharon, one of the owners, makes this place special. She asks your name, and continues to use it in such a friendly manner that you feel like she sees you as a friend staying with her, rather than a paying guest. The breakfasts are very good and you never feel rushed to eat up and leave the breakfast room. Location wise it is spot on, with everything you need only a few minutes walk away. "I opted for the bed & breakfast package which was totally worth it. Although the rooms were small, they were clean and had ample space for 2 adults. Amenities were good - hot chocolate, tea with milk, and sugar were a nice touch. The breakfast in the dining room was lovely. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the town center but it is a nice walk to pier -along the boardwalk."

"This was our first stay under the new ownership and it didn't disappoint. Staff were very welcoming at check-in and throughout our stay. The decor has been updated and Sheldon House now looks far more 'colourful'. I rarely read the guest information, however the folder was inviting and I am glad that I opened it.
