I wished we had more time to spend just sitting overlooking the water as it was so serene and peaceful. Easy check in, functional kitchen, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. "The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa. The Abbey has charm and pleasant seclusion at a very reasonable price. There is tea and coffee and a fridge and microwave. It can be cold in Winter but has a heater. More blankets would...
