During our stay the washrooms upstairs were out of service so that was a bit of a hassle going downstairs every time. Other than that, the place was amazing, it was one of the most peaceful sleep we’ve had in our many stays here Iceland!"

The breakfast was the best we had on our trip on the island - my husband and I still talk about the homemade croissants and jam! "This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra...
