"We were there with our 7 year old son. All three of us thought the resort was amazing. The food was absolutely outstanding. I have stayed at approximately 60 all inclusive resorts and this one had the best food. Delicious filet mignon pretty much every night, yes please! Our room was perfect for us with amazing views. Kids pool could have been a bit warmer, but we got used to it quickly once in. Overall, a great place and we will be back!"

"I really like its location, is close to everything in San Jose. There’s restaurants just across the hotel, 5 minutes away from downtown and 8 minutes away from swimming-ablebeach"

"Enjoyed this spot immensely, the apartment was spacious, A/C worked well, all amenities listed are there and in working order. The property is huge, pools are very nice & there were so few people around it kind of feels like you're alone. Great if that's your thing, maybe a little spooky if not? lol The employees were all very helpful & kind. A few speak pretty fluent English if your Spanish is rusty. Only gripes are relatively small: We received a printed list of "rules" two pages long but no printed list of info about WiFi, where certain things are stored, where to take your trash bags, how to get out of the back gate, etc." re: back gate: the main exit by the garage I guess is fully manual or the sensors were broken & we had multiple issues trying to leave the property -- you can backtrack & get out the front gate but there were trucks blocking that route due to the construction a couple times. re: construction -- they do warn you about it but the banging starts earlier and ends later than what was stated. Didn't bother me personally at all but it might bother some. Oh yeah, they need chalk for the pool sticks! lol I blame all my losses on that. This property will be amazing when they get it where they want it but it was still wonderful as a "work in progress""

Hotel Punta Pescadero Paradise

"Beautiful view and gorgeous beach. Please note that they were very understaffed and at times hard to find anyone to assist. Our room had the worst methane gas in the bathroom. We had to keep the sink and shower covered and last day had to use friends shower as it was smelling so badly. We ended up nauseous and with headaches. We informed manager and he was aware and said plumber could not come until the next week. Did not offer to even move us. He did give us a credit to come back. LOL. We live in Hawaii and just do not go to Mexico on a whim and it expired so could not use. We almost slept outside one night the smell was so bad . Cleaners could barely clean in bathroom due to the methane and then just used perfume to try and mask the smell which made it even worse !"
