The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. "Room was clean and a reasonable size. Shower was OK but very low pressure. TV was very small and difficult to see across the room. Lots of stairs and winding corridors so a bit difficult for OAPs. Breakfast was good."

"I received a warm welcome from this family run business on arrival, parking was ample and just outside the entrance to this lovely, rural hotel. I was travelling for work purposes, so only stayed at Cadwgan for one night. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, the furniture was bright and modern, the ensuite bathroom equally clean and the bed large and very comfortable. A very peaceful location with views of the sea and cattle in the field opposite. I had a great night's sleep and enjoyed a light breakfast the next morning. As a solo female traveller, I would highly recommend a stay here, I felt safe and well looked after. Thank you."

"The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening."
