Awesome clean shining white bathroom towels bedding . 24 h reception . Great WIFI. Great location mid way between the tourist n business area and cool local district Bilk .3 supermarkets one open till midnight within a 500 m radius .

Okay, but…
Staff is great and friendly! Breakfast is decent. However, the hotel should not have 4*. Rooms are not sound proof, I heard traffic outside, people in the hallways neighbour room alarms. Not cleaned well, there was hair in the batroom floor, not mine, i have short hair and that was long.

Ww paid for 4* hotel it was closed on arrival got sent to a sister hotel that qas the hotel schumann it was allegedly a 3*hotel 10km away from the first the place a dump hotles.xon informed us after our arrival that the placecwaa closed i had a great view of a back lane no food no breakfast and no staff after 7pm if at all dont book it

The place was absolutely amazing in every way. Quiet. Comfortable spotless in every way. If I had one little moan it would be no tea and coffee facilities. Excellent

I liked the location, sort of quiet, on a square with a kids playground. There’s a slightly stale smell in the hotel, probably remnants of the smoking era. The WiFi was spotty (have to re-log in every time you re-open your phone). They have a sauna but it doesn’t seem to work (they claimed to have turned it on twice, but both times I went down to use it, it was not on). But breakfast is good, the room was clean, and the price was good.

Dear Sir or Madaem, thank you for your review. We are very sorry, that your stay in our hotel was not as perfectly as it need to. The problem with the Wifi we know. You need to log in always when you come from outside. We choose this, better than with passwords. But we will search for a better solution. Abot the Sauna we never have Problems, so I don´t know why it was always cold. We already checked it and everything is finde, so we hope we can welcome you again in our hotel. We have stayed here before so knew what to expect in terms of location and breakfast both of which are good. We had a lovely large room on the first floor with a very large bathroom which even included a jacuzzi bath. So far so good, much better room than previous stay but what we were not told was that the extractor fan from the kitchen would be turned on at 6am and would reverberate like a ship's engine on a ferry through the room! That was our 'niggle'. We thought about asking to change rooms but by that time we had hung our clothes in the wardrobe etc and we decided to live with it. Didn't exactly spoil our stay but rather than telling us what a wonderful room we were getting it would have been good to have been given the choice of this 'wonderful room with a jacuzzi bath and slight noise disturbance' or a smaller less wonderful room without the noise!

Good location, good value for money. Room was a bit old-fashioned and bathroom wasn't the cleaniest. We stayed there in August and then would have definately needed air conditioner. Breakfast was good and staff were nice too.

The hotel was well placed being close to a tram stop. The room was excellent and very clean. Unfortunately, there was no tea / coffee making facility and,when I asked for room service was told that it was unavailable until the bar opened. The breakfast was very good with excellent staff.

My parents weren’t treated polite at all by the female workers. Guys at the reception were great. In general our stay was nice. Breakfast was surprisingly good :)

not sure how the star rating is awarded in this city; my previous stay was at another 4 star hotel, and it was WAY better than this one. older hotel, small rooms, it doesn't look anything like the pictures, no amenities to speak of. even the location is not exactly great. i think 3 star would be a stretch already! staff at the reception was nice and friendly, no issues there.

Very hot in the summer
Some of the front desk girls should be more friendly. If you are planning to stay there in the summer, the room doesn’t have air conditioning and you will struggle with the heat! The breakfast is OK :)

This was a flying visit, probably the shortest I've stayed somewhere recently. But everything was fine and there was a decent breakfast. The city view i thought i'd got was pretty non-existent but didn't effect my stay.

Check- in set what to expect for a number of staff. At one stage went to request assistance from reception. Two staff on duty, waited for a considerable time for them to finish conversation. When they finally turned to us looked like they were annoyed at having their conversation interrupted. Asked our question, staff looked at each other with a look of disdane one responded "no", only comment and they went on with conversation. Room acceptable as was breakfast. 15 minute walk to station, 45 minute walk to centre of old town. Good small restaurant on the left as walk out of hotel.

1980s Retro hotel
This is a hotel which needs a good upgrade and money spent on it. The area is nice, about 15 mins walk from the train station, 5 minutes by tram. The breakfast was just about okay. Really needs money spending on it to bring it up to 2019.
