"Very nice little hotel in good location to driving just about anywhere. It was clean and comfortable for the 3 of us. Check in and out was simple, nice staff. Restaurant staff not really very welcoming, we very much felt like outsiders and that we were just in the way. We ate the first 2 dinners there and one breakfast. "We had the most amazing stay at this cosy, comfortable cabin surrounded by greenery. It was like living in a tree house. The birdsong was beautiful as were the sunsets and views of the night sky. The cabin was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for our week long stay, including parking. There is a log fire with plenty of wood for cold days but we were very lucky with the weather and had warm sunshine every day which made the cabin warm and cosy to come back to after days out....

"You get what you pay for. Showers were not clean, mold growing in silicone and grout. Needed a good clean or bleach! I turned the “waterfall faucet” on and the water completely missed the sink and ran directly onto the floor (because of the design and miniature sized space saving sink). Messy chaos to deal with. Room heater didn’t work or have instructions. Outside, car park and grounds were dirty and didn’t feel safe. Staff were nice."
