"The access is made through a side door entrance. A grey looking corridor leads you to 1st floor flat. Great entrance with comfy corner chair facing a shoe rack. Living room and main bedroom overlook the main square of Aberfeldy. Very pittoresque. Kitchen and Bathroom had showroom effect, clean, functional and practical. "What a fabulous property! Stay in a former castle that has been painstakingly updated for comfort. There's not a more convenient and centrally located space whether traveling by train (the hotel is visible from the station) or car with parking onsite. Great breakfast overlooking the garden and several spots for drinks and gathering. A must for any bucket list and don't miss the Pitlockry Festival theater productions while you're there."

"The rooms were very hot, the windows were open but still didn’t help with ventilation. The heating system seemed to be on as the pipes were hot. It was very uncomfortable in the room. We eventually asked the front desk for a fan, which they gave us off the front desk. The picture of the bedroom they sent with my receipt, was definitely not the room were given. The beds were smaller. Killin is a lovely town and we enjoyed our time there, just a little disappointed with accommodation"
