"I was travelling with friends who had another room but had the same experience. There was a problem with the aircon and our room temperature was 26c. I reported this to reception and the chap went to another room to remotely set the temperature for me. In the mean time he suggested opening our window until the temperature became acceptable. If there was a problem with the aircon then why weren’t we notified on checking in? And why didn’t they set the temperature beforehand to 21c instead of leaving it at 26c? My friends had a similar experience and we overheard someone else at reception having the same problem. Also, there was no water in the room. "

"I would recommend to request the 5th floor. There is a mini golf course directly in front of the hotel and the noise level is high into the night. The advertised pool was out of order, but we got a coupon for a nearby indoor pool. Unfortunately very crowded. If you want piece and quiet, look somewhere else. "

"Great hotel with outdoor pool and a couple of Finnish saunas that are available for all guests (not open 24/7, but ask at reception for opening hours). Breakfast provided a good spread with GF options available."

"One of the best hotels I stayed in. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding! It had everything you could ever want. And if it wasn't there, the great staff was willing to get it for you. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. Anklam itself is not very exciting, but it seems to be nice for outdoor activities."
