Hyggelig privat lite hotell med nærhet til alt.

Vi hadde et flott opphold på dette hotellet, bortsett fra en TV som ikke var helt i orden.

Lovely restful location.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful terrace to sit and eat breakfast on looking out over the whole bay. We really enjoyed using the pool with plenty of sun beds and shade. We found the beds very comfy. A great place to unwind, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional Staff

The staff made this a great experience. Everyone we worked with was friendly, easy to work with, and helped us will all of you questions and needs. The hotel is in a fantastic location with easy access to the ferry, great food option, and to the entire island's offerings. Out of our room, the view of the sea was amazing. Lastly the breakfast on the terrace brought us back for a second unplanned stay.

Stunning villa hotel - home away from home

From the moment we stepped off the ferry and realised we were looking up at the villa within walking distance; our instinct had proven us correct. Delightful and charming hospitality by Iris and her team. Easy, comfortable and attention to the details. Clean, well run and relaxing. Nothing that is not taken care of; including a delicious breakfast buffet of continental options; including home made bread and cakes baked each morning. Stunning views and pool on the hillside with spectacular views over the bay of Lopud Island. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay with ease of access to ferry, local cafes and activities. Tranquil!

Great hotel on Lopud island at the harbour end of the main promenade, so easy access to the ferry, restaurants etc. Staff were really good & accommodated any requests we had even putting on early breakfasts when we needed to catch early ferry off the island to Dubrovnik. Will definitely go back.

Lovely relaxing hotel.

Hotel in an excellent position with beautiful views all around. Small pool at back of property, Hotel also provides its own beach towels. We enjoyed lazy breakfasts watching the comings and goings of the island. Lovely comfortable bedrooms which are kept very clean. Had a relaxing restful holiday and would return in the future. Would have liked an area/facilities to make own drinks during the day.

Excellent Hotel on Lopud

Villa Vilina is very close to the harbour with great views from the rooms of the comings and goings. Breakfast is served by the very friendly staff on the terrace overlooking the port a great start to the day. The Dubrovnik Ferry docks very close to the hotel so you don't have to carry your luggage very far. The Island of Lopud has no cars and excellent for a do nothing stay. The Hotel is very close to all shops and restaurants on the main promenade. This is an great walk at any time of the day or night with small shops, bars and restaurants and no one is pushing their services. Food was excellent in all the establishments that we used during our 4 night stay at Villa Vilina although no cheap especially the price of wine. However as all the goods have to be imported I don't think that we should complain too much. There is a fine beach over the other side of the island which is a 35 minute walk up and over the hill. Not bad going but you can take a golf buggy taxi both ways if you don't want to walk only 15 Kuna per person about £2 so worth it. Excellent beach bars with good food and drink.

Lovely hotel, small and friendly with fab view

We had such a wonderful time, the hotel was in a very convenient position and the island was so beautiful. We didn't have a bad meal in the whole ten days and all at very reasonable prices.

Very nice and cosy family hotel

We stayed in the upper suite close to the pool and in very nice surroundings in the large hotel garden. The staff received us with warm welcome and a very friendly and service minded attitude.

A traditional feel.

It has a traditional feel, which I prefer to the monster, modern hotel on the opposite side of the bay that was always banging out music. Vilina is quiet and sedate. The breakfasts are great and the room was comfortable and spacious.

Perfect place to unwind

The hotel is a charming villa, right beside the little port. It was perfect for a getaway break. My room overlooked the port so there was some activity when the boats came in.. but that was a part of the experience. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast but you could order eggs anyway you wanted. It was served on a terrace overlooking the port & bay. The staff were always friendly & helpful. My room was clean, with air conditioning & a fridge. I would go back.

The Island of Lopud, Dubrovnik, Croatia

We spent 3 days in Lopud. It was heavenly. The hotel was so quaint and very friendly. We had a lovely breakfast every morning - many personal touches. The island is really fabulous, extremely relaxing, great for walks, sailing, snorkling, etc. The restaurants are lovely too, each better than the next. Delicious seafood with friendly and attentive (but not overly) service! Loved it there - will definitely return.

Quiet Refined Hotel Occupying Prestigious Position

Stayed for a week on Lopud in this hotel in Sept 2015. had a very pleasant stay. Our sea view room had an excellent view overlooking the hotel terrace and onto the picturesque harbour. The hotel is a small comfortable hotel with a distinctly genteel and refined atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was very generous offering a great continental style breakfast. Eggs could also be ordered cooked to your preference. The hotel occupies a prestigious position above the harbour and the beach, restaurants and great walks are all within a stones throw. The hotel offers used of a small private pool that is located in the grounds of the owner's house which lies just behind the hotel. The hotel is not new and there are a few signs of wear and tear, the built in hair dryer in our bathroom was not working and rather than being repaired a separate hand held hairdryer was supplied. Some of the bathroom fixtures were coming detached from the wall and the shower tray failed to drain quickly enough meaning that we had to start and stop the shower to prevent it over flowing. None of this was important to us, and was more than made up for by the excellent location and wonderful fell and ambience of the hotel. We did not have much interaction with hotel staff but where we did, they were very friendly. Would definitely go back if I were to visit Lopud.

A fantastic break. The hotel was lovely and well-situated, right on the coast with the marina virtually out the front door. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.
